Pen End Paper

I had a flight last week. Actually turned into a lot of flights with lay overs ect. Ended up missing a flight and wound up staying at a Best Western in Pittsburgh till I could get on the next flight. I planned to draw a few things for a current project while I was on the road (in the air). Just finished putting a few of the pieces together. I think they came out pretty cool. Putting down the mouse and using some Micron pen is a nice break.

My Action Sport set. I put it together because so often I run into the need for some type of surf imagery, a skater ect. Thought this might come in handy to put together work a little bit quicker. Sport is a kickin collection of 25 vector illustrations of biking, skating, surfing and more. Doing a commercial for Mountain Dew? Ha, well this is the answer right? Not doing a commercial for Mountain Dew, who cares! Either way, these illustrations rock and you can’t go wrong…

Willie Nelson

This was actually a fun piece started from something completely different and then Josh said what if you make a Willie Nelson skull – so I was up for the challenge and thought why not. The end piece came out pretty cool. Not sure that it will be used but it was fun to put together. Its great anytime you can work both a skull and long hair into a piece. This was one of the few leftover pieces from the Quiksilver pitch.
