Andres Iniesta Spanish Football Player

Andrés Iniesta Luján (born 11 May 1984) is a Spanish football player. He currently plays as a central midfielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona, and the Spanish national team. Iniesta came through La Masia, the Barcelona youth academy, and impressed from an early age.

He made his first-team debut in 2002, aged 18. He began playing regularly during the 2004–05 season, and has remained in the side ever since. He was an integral part of the sextuple-winning Barcelona side in 2009, the only time which a club has achieved six titles in a year.

Iniesta played for Spain at Under-16, Under-19 and Under-21 levels, before making his international debut in 2006. He was selected for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, playing one game, as Spain went out in the second round. He helped Spain qualify for Euro 2008, and played an important role in the side as they went on to win the competition, playing every game and being selected in the UEFA Team of the Tournament.

Iniesta was selected for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and was a key member of the victorious Spanish side; he scored the winning goal in the final against the Netherlands, also being named Man of the Match, and was selected in the tournament's All-Star Team. He was also the Man of the Match for two other World Cup games.

Andrés started the 2011–12 season by scoring the opening goal in the second leg of the Supercopa de España against rivals Real Madrid, Barcelona went on to win the match 3–2 and the cup on agg. 5–4. Since 2008, Iniesta has dated Anna Ortiz,[54] and in September 2010 he confirmed that she was pregnant with his child. On April 3, 2011 she gave birth to their daughter Valeria.

David Pocock Australian Rugby Player

David Pocock (born 23 April 1988) is an Australian rugby union player. He is the current Western Force and Wallabies openside flanker, having assumed the latter position from George Smith.Pocock grew up in Zimbabwe and emigrated to Australia in 2002.

He started off his rugby career when he was schooling at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Brisbane, Australia, playing inside centre in the 1st XV alongside Quade Cooper. In 2005, he played for Australian Schoolboys rugby side.

Pocock currently plays for the Force, where he made his debut against the Sharks in 2006. The Super 14 regulations kept him from playing any earlier in the season, as he was not yet 18. At the start of 2010, his younger brother Steve joined him at the Western Force. David Pocock made appearances for Australian Schoolboys and Australia A in the 2007 IRB Pacific Nations Cup, earning man of the match honours on multiple occasions in the tournament. He then made his Australian debut as a substitute against The Barbarians on 3 December 2008.

Pocock made his Wallabies debut in Hong Kong in late 2008, and then played against Italy and The Barbarians on the Wallabies spring tour. He captained the Australian Under-20s at the Junior World Championships in England in 2008, and was awarded the Emirates Western Force captaincy for the development tour of England later that year.

Pocock replaced longstanding Wallaby openside flanker George Smith, late in the 2009 Tri-Nations. In the Wales test in the 2009 Autumn Internationals, he put his thumb back into its socket after it had been dislocated and continued to play. He was, however, substituted at half-time and replaced by George Smith.

In 2010, Pocock became the first choice openside flanker for the Wallabies. Adam Freier, former Wallabies hooker, commented that his performances that year had been "simply outstanding", and said that his talents had more than justified his selection in the Wallabies' starting fifteen. According to rugby writer Greg Growden, Pocock's skill at the breakdown has become a key focus of opposition teams trying to stop the Wallabies' game plan.
